Peripatetic Teacher

As part of our entitlement from Renfrewshire Council as Partner Providers we take part in the Teacher Access Programme.  One day per week during term time we have a teacher employed with Renfrewshire Council who attends nursery and works alongside staff to provide effective and high quality teaching and learning practices as well as relevant curriculum delivery.
The work of the peripatetic teacher is made in agreement with the nursery to ensure they support our identified areas for improvement.  This work is done in a block planner.  Example areas of input and support:
